Timothy Peters, No. 17 Toyota
Peters has not won any of the first three truck races (Cup regulars have won two of them), but he leads the standings by virtue of three top-five finishes — second at Daytona and fifth at Martinsville and Rockingham. Peters, 31, has made four starts at Kansas Speedway with a best finish of 14th last year.
Brad Keselowski, No. 19 Dodge
Keselowski is the only Sprint Cup regular entered in the race. He’s made just one truck start this season, finishing 27th at Daytona. Keselowski, 28, has enjoyed plenty of success at Kansas Speedway, winning last spring’s STP 400 Sprint Cup race and finishing third in the fall race a day after winning the Nationwide event.
