Butch Miller of Coopersville promises he will race again, although fans will have to wait awhile to watch one of West Michigan’s legendary drivers return to the track.

Miller, who spent a number of his best years racing for car owner Leroy Throop of Coopersville, returned to Berlin Raceway this past Tuesday night when the Marne half-mile hosted the Rowdy 251.

While Miller, 60, doesn’t have a ride this year, he is still heavily involved in racing. Miller works for current NASCAR Sprint Cup points leader and 2003 series champion Matt Kenseth.
