Say what you want to about NASCAR driver Kyle Busch, he knows how to make lemonade when you give him a lemon. After the Busch/Logano “fight” at Las Vegar Motor Speedway, Kyle was very tense in his replies to all questions asked him after the visit to the trailer. The phrase was: “Everything is great.” It became notorious in press coverage. He has turned it to great benefit for his charity. Way to go Mr. Busch.

Kyle Busch sold $30,000 in T-shirts inspired by Joey Logano fight

The “Everything is Great” T-shirts Kyle Busch began selling in the aftermath of his fight with Joey Logano has generated “over $30,000” in sales, Busch said Friday at Martinsville Speedway.

Busch punched Logano on pit road following the March 12 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and after he and Logano met with NASCAR officials the next week at Phoenix International Raceway to squelch their differences, Busch avoided reporters’ questions by saying, “Everything is great.”

Three days later, Busch started selling T-shirts with his new favorite saying on his website. The shirts were priced at $22, which happens to be Logano’s car number.

“Everything is great. Always has been, forever will be,” Busch said at Martinsville, site of Sunday’s STP 500. “Sales are up over 30 grand so far in just, what, two weeks. A lot of great fan support from that. It’s been awesome. A really neat deal for the fans to be as supportive of it.”
